FC can support a number of OSS Content Management Systems for the design, implementation and maintenance of corporate and private web sites:
- Alfresco: It is the leading open source alternative for enterprise content management. It couples the innovation of open source with the stability of a true enterprise-class platform. It is built using the latest open source infrastructure components including: Spring, Hibernate, Lucene, MyFaces and is based on Aspect-Oriented-Programming.
- Apache Lenya: An Open Source Java/XML Content Management System which comes with revision control, multi-site management, scheduling, search, WYSIWYG editors, and workflow. The Browser-based WYSIWYG Editors provided validate input against a RELAX NG Schema. This prevents invalid markup as produced by other WYSIWYG editors and enables enforcement of web site style guidelines. Lenya ships with the BXE and Kupu editors out of the box. Asset management and link management are integrated into BXE and Kupu.
- AtLeap: A multilingual free Java CMS with a full-text search engine. AtLeap's CMS ideology does not restrict creative graphical design of the site. Usually the customer does not want template, banal routine graphical design. Blandware AtLeap allows the creation of an individual, unique and exceptional solution.
- Joomla: An award-winning CMS, which enables users to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available. Joomla's roots go back to 2000 and, with over 200,000 community users and contributors.
- MeshCMS: It is designed to be easy to use. It is file based and doesn't require a database. MeshCMS has been written in Java and requires a servlet container compatible with Servlet 2.3 and JSP 1.2 (e.g. Tomcat 4). It provides a set of features usually included in a CMS, but it uses a more traditional approach: pages are stored in regular HTML files and all additional features are file-based, without needing a database. MeshCMS has been thought as a quick tool to edit pages online, manage files and create some common components like menus, breadcrumbs, mail forms, image galleries and so on. It requires few resources: the default 64MB heap is enough to host a dozen of sites.
- ModXCMS: A powerful PHP Content Management Framework that plays nicely with custom code and helps build sites faster while maintain them with ease. MODx is perfect both for regular marketing websites and for many custom web applications. If the customer is looking for a robust, Ajax- and SEO-friendly CMS built on top of a modern OOP database framework, then MODx is the answer.
